Know the white tea ...
White tea is said to be the original tea. Interestingly, all four major types of tea (black, oolong, green and white) come from the same tea plant, Camelia Sinensis. The distinction between the tea categories is in the tea leaf processing method. White tea is not treated or oxidized.
It consists of the bud with two young leaves and once collected undergoes only the drying and drying processes.
The result is a pale infusion with a fresh and delicate, slightly sweet taste. White Tea requires long infusions - up to 15 minutes. This is a pleasure for connoisseurs. It is collected and rolled by hand and then dried in the sun.
White Tea contains a higher portion of gems, which are covered with thin silver hair that gives a light white / gray color.
The infusion has a pale yellow color and a slightly sweet taste.
These white tea buds are harvested from selected plants, old up to 100 years old, a special care is taken to develop this tea. Organic white teas are free from pesticide residues.
White teas are slightly oxidized. The leaves and buds are actually harvested the day before the bloom, which attributes the delicate nature of the white tea.
White tea has a higher concentration of polyphenols than green tea and therefore has a stronger anti-aciding potential than all teas.
